The JD Sports store in Arden Fair Mall caught my eye when I walked by in front of the store. I like the storefront of the wide open design. It seems that the store is waving their hands to me.

The store inside is not much different from other new style sports stores. It is very clean, and the shoes and clothes are nicely displayed. The salespersons in the store gave me a greeting and offered to help.

Unwelcoming atmosphere. Not the best place to shop for shoes, I had to go to another store for better help. Went in looking specifically for two pairs of shoes. I had to wander around the store to ask someone to check and see if there was my size in stock, it seemed as if all the workers were avoiding customer interactions. When I finally found someone who was available, she looks at me with a disinterested expression and tells me to repeat what I asked her. I understand the music was loud, but if it’s too loud to the point you can’t hear your customers. Turn it down. I then repeat myself to her and she says “ummmm yeah I can take a look for you”. Let’s just say she never came out to tell me if the shoes were in stock.

This store is excellent and the workers there tried really hard to find what I was looking for ! There was an older gentleman I’m sorry if I forgot his name but he grabbed us four different options so fast and was extra polite haven’t heard anyone say Yes Sir and ma’am in so long I was thoroughly impressed with the service I ended up buying three of the Four pairs that he brought out! We were visiting from the East Coast, so Jd is familiar to us. I just really appreciate the service I received.

The store manager, Tina, is the real MVP! I received an incorrect item from Finish Line and was having trouble contacting the company for support. I called JD Sports in a Hail Mary attempt to fix the problem. The staff at JD Sports understood my issue and asked me to come into their store to rectify the problem. Tina stepped up in a major way, she was on hold with Finish Line for a solid 30 minutes, and simultaneously processed my problem and had the correct item shipped out via expedited post. Tina showed empathy and masterfully resolved my concern with efficiency. Above all, Tina displayed human kindness in a manner that is sometimes lacking in the realm of customer service. Thank you for the assist! I will be shopping at JD Sports in the future. Much love.

Cashier was initially pleasant. Once I got home, I realized she left the sensor attached. I called back and asked if they could send someone out to remove it and she said I had to return it and hung up. I called back and let the phone ring until they decided to answer. I then asked for a manager. After a brief hold a manger came to the phone. I explained the situation to her and she acted like she didn't care. I told her I did not appreciate being hung up on and I was going to ask how long you were open. When I returned, she was nowhere to be found. The cashiers pretended to be busy and some other clowns were standing around. Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I went there and had to look for someone for help. They only gave me one shoe and disappeared. I had to look for the person that helped me to get the next size over. I asked for the other shoe so I can try them on, yet again....only gave me one side and disappeared. The worst customer service I've had. I ended up going to footlocker and they had more welcoming customer service and I got both shoes. I ended up buying two pairs when I initially only wanted to buy a pair of shoes. Please train your people to stay with the customer while trying the shoes just in case if it does not fit.

JD sports staff, especially the manager were sooo kind and quick to help me when I was looking for a particular shoe and size. Sometimes these stores can go unnoticed in such a big mall but if you are in need of some new kicks, JD Sports and staff is definitely your place 🙂

Definitely the best JD Sports in all of Northern California in my experience. Tina, Andrea, Ezell, and the rest of the incredible team members at this location always do their best to take care of customers needs in a timely manner. The store itself also has a wide selection of clothing and sneakers to choose from including brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas, and more. Certainly recommend others to check out this store when they get the opportunity!
