Do not shop here. The employees called me “mentally challenged” and accused me of damaging merchandise although I did nothing of the sort. Afterwards, I was kicked out along with all of my acquaintances and was escorted rudely out of the shop. The employees put their hands on me ( I am a minor ) and lied to me. When I asked for an apology for being insulted and touched, i was denied of one and the employee by the name of Bob, said to me “I don’t care” overall horrible establishment, and even worse employees.

John and Bob were very rude and not helpful and I saw them touch a minor. John accused people of damaging property when they didn't and then made them pay for it. Overall, all of the employees were rude and it is an awful establishment. Don't go if you want to have a good day. (The man in the picture is Bob)

I work in the Pro-Shop at Lake Venice Golf Club and, when asking about where to go to get fitted, the ununanimous recommendation was Golf Galaxy in Sarasota. Furthermore, it was to seek out CHRIS. We stopped by Saturday and had the blessing to literally run into CHRIS. He took an inordinate amount of time to talk with us about process and to schedule us. We're excited to be going to him on 5/1/24 for fitting of my wife and I, and to select clubs. He is kind, supportive and repeatedly said to come to fitting and have fun. I don't know how much better this could be but, I think it will be on 5/1/24. GREAT GREAT experience, service, CHRIS and company!!!!! Thank you, John and Jennifer

I went in there today to buy 3 clubs, over $1,100 worth of clubs. I had picked out 2 clubs and was in the process of selecting a driver. It was murder trying to get someone to help me. There were virtually no customers in the store. The sales people that weren’t scrolling on their phones were no where to be found. Fed up, I went back to get the two clubs I selected and told a salesperson that I wanted and they were gone, without a sales person around. No sale! Hate to have a customer service issue with them. Golf business must be good. Going to the PGA store tomorrow.

I met with Mark today for my first lesson ever. I couldn't be anymore happy. I learned so much about my swing and how to improve it.
I have been playing golf for 25 years and have always had a slice. I left today with no slice and hit the ball straight.
I have another 5 lessons scheduled and can't wait to meet with him again.
Most importantly, I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with Mark. He is a game changer a super good guy to work with!

Dropped into store today to see if I could get some advice on drivers. Ron in the Club fitting was there to assist me. He gave me advice and allowed me try out different drivers with different shafts, recorded my results and made recommendations. Very professional. No pressure to purchase. A very nice experience - thank you. I will be back .

Had a driver fitting session with JT. JT is absolutely fantastic!! He is patient, knows his stuff & honest. Was not trying to make a quick sale. Walked out with his contact info if I had any questions. Can’t wait to get my irons, wedges & putting fitting sessions.
