Everyone that I have interacted with has been so lovely, warm, and accommodating to my last minute needs. I was in a rush to become certified within 2 weeks before a trip and the staff had gone out of their way to make sure they could help me come up with a plan that suited my needs, comfort level, and safety. I especially would recommend my open diver instructor, Matt, who really helped me feel confident in my skills and was super supportive in my journey to getting certified. I couldn’t recommend Hollywood Divers enough and definitely won’t hesitate to return here with my future scuba diving adventure needs in the future.

Everyone I have met at this shop is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I made the leap and bought all of my scuba gear recently; The team at Hollywood Divers was wonderful in helping me choose equipment that was best for me, and were honest about which items I could get the less expensive models for the same quality. They were also great in helping me find some equipment 'used', which also saved on cost. On top of that, they helped me get my BCD set up and trimmed to my size.

I needed some gears to get ready for my upcoming dive trip and this shop had the best reviews so I decided to come here. As I entered the store, I was greeted by Hal and he was able to help me out with everything: mask, fins, boots, dive light, snorkel, etc. He is super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a lot of tips and tricks to prep for my trip.

Just got back from my week long dive trip yesterday and let me tell you, all the gears that I bought fit me so well and worked great. Thank you Hal and will be back again for sure!

I just got a Nauticam housing for my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera and needed some help completing the system. Kurt Newmeyer in the underwater-camera department at Hollywood Divers was extremely helpful. I needed a port, port adapter, extension ring, and some gears. He patiently walked me through the pros and cons of the various approaches I was considering. He also helped me decide whether to go with and Acrylic or Glass port. A glass port is almost twice as much as the acrylic, so I wanted be sure I considered all the options. There is a wealth of knowledge at Hollywood Divers and it's based on experience rather than just repeating tech specs. I work in the film industry and there's a lot of expensive equipment that promises you the world and then underdelivers. Not here, it's awesome to be able to draw on all the experience the crew at the dive shop has to offer. Definitely my new go-to shop for underwater camera gear. A+

I was packing for a trip to Mexico and discovered my snorkeling stuff had been stolen out of my garage. Ran over to Hollywood Divers, who could not have been more helpful. Offered me multiple good choices on all the things I needed, gave good advice, extremely friendly, straightforward and efficient. I was out of there in a half hour fully equipped, at a price I found surprisingly reasonable. Strongly recommend.
