1st class customer experience in every way.

I've had a couple of appointments to choose boots and my partner has too.
I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy footwear for the mountains.

Although the range of makes is fairly limited, the selection of models and sizes is excellent. Nick's knowledge of the products in terms of fit and suitability for your desired activity is incredible. If one boot feels wrong he'll know exactly which boot will fit better.
Being able to try on several models in several sizes with Nick's advice has resulted in a well fitting boot every time for us.

When I had a minor issue with a defect, rock and run sorted this swiftly and with a resolution which I was more than happy with. Callum was fantastic to deal with!

Simply the best customer service you can ask for. Booked a free appointment the night before, turned up and had a kind, knowledgeable climber advise me on a pair of shoes, got them dialed in on the model and size. Cannot recommend these guys enough, shopped here for a year or so and I refuse to go anywhere else.

Very disappointed with the awful and dreadful customer service here.
Purchased some winter boots £250. Tried them once in the park and realized they were faulty and not for me.
Tried to return and was told that this is not possible. And they would not help me with a warranty or returns process.
No wonder people are boycotting small stores! Have spent lots of time/effort/money in this store and will not be there again.
Was told owner Andy Hyslop would not speak to any customers on phone. Quite pompous!

Very knowledgeable staff who really helped me with re sizing after having orthopedic insoles made. I went from my usual 9 to a size 11 !! Great view from the shop, great staff, a free brew and lots of help, what more can you ask.

Had an appointment to try out climbing shoes. Excellent advice, felt like I had loads of time, staff were very patient with my slow decision making and happy to let me try as many as pairs as I wanted. Very happy with my final choice. Would definitely recommend!

Purchased climbing shoes for my wife and myself, was not too sure about sizing and ordered wrong sizes so needed to exchange them and emailed to customer services and Callum was super helpful, explained everything very clearly and gave a lot of tips and made all experience smooth and easy. Will definitely shop here again.
